Fluorescent and HID lamps contain small amounts of mercury that can do significant damage to the environment if not disposed of properly. Imperial Lighting has made an environmental commitment to recycle every used lamp we remove and, conscientiously, we include safe lamp disposal and recycling as a regular part of our services. With the help of our recycling partners, we participate in regulated lamp disposal programs and provide a certificate of completion.
LED Disposal
Although LED disposal occurs, while not to the same degree as fluorescent and HID lamps, Imperial Lighting’s service teams go through rigorous steps to ensure that all disposal and recycling efforts, including older building fluorescent or new building updates with LED disposals are performed according to the regulations of the lighting maintenance industry.
